Meet Ni (CMT)
Certified by the State of California, Ni is an experienced massage therapist who has assembled a variety of techniques from her years traveling the world. Always passionate about touch, culture, and people, she began her studies on the Ayurvedic massage arts and Yoga in Brazil and India. Years later, she expanded her knowledge on western techniques while in London, where she immersed in the soothing secrets of aromatherapies.
Learning modalities like Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Hot-Stones, and detoxing techniques helped her dip her foot in the water and launch into the world. While a masseuse on yachts, she has lived and traveled all over Europe meeting exceptional multicultural massage therapists. Ni believes much of her professional and intuitive approach comes from the embodiment ("in corpus" in Portuguese) of the many and various massage sessions, in the past 10 years, she has given and received.
She fell in love with Thailand once and embedded herself in the fascinating life of monks, mountains, silent practice, bungalows, curry and, of course, Thai massage retreats! Her passion has driven her to continue developing expertise in new international experiences and sensations, she will never forget the amazing Turkish baths of Istanbul, the sumptuous infusions of Morrocan argan and mint, the luxurious and spiced markets of Dubai or the Kenyan wild safari and soul retreats. From French castles en Provence and lavender to the Hawaiian aloha Lomi-Lomi healing spirit, you name it!
In 2017, Ni furthers her education while living in Richmond, VA, where she received training in medical massage, pre-natal, lymphatic drainage, cranial-sacral, myofascial release and other modalities! She is constantly attuned on learning new skills to best serve her clients.
And now she lives in the shining Palo Alto, where people are connected through mountains, water, innovation, health, and knowledge. What a place to be in touch and to bring a touch of healing!
